“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”

                                                                                                                                                                           — Jeremiah 6:16

The 20’s are often a time where people are setting trajectories. Where will I be living? What will I do there? Who will my friends be? Will I get married? Should I have children? How a person answers these questions will shape their responsibilities and time for years to come, sometimes for the rest of their lives.

These sorts of decisions can cause a lot of anxiety. But Scripture points out that there is a way of wisdom, a path to walk in that will result in rest for our souls. As graduate students and young adults at Bellefield, we strive together to follow that path. We do that through small groups meant to encourage, instruct, and lift one another up. We do it through practices like service and hospitality. We do it through monthly gatherings of all young adults and grad students called Rooted.

Each of these programs and practices is meant to help guide us as we make these trajectory-setting decisions. More than that though, they are helping us answer the most important question of our 20’s and the rest of our lives: who is Jesus and what impact does he have on our lives?

We’d love to have you join us walking the path.
