Bellefield is a special place, and it’s a real joy to serve the Lord here as the pastors of this unique community. If you’d like to learn more about who we are as a congregation, what we believe, and how we seek to live as those who have been transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ, then take some time to look around our website and, of course, please join us for worship and fellowship.

Josh Brown,
Lead Pastor

Josh has served as the Lead Pastor since 2013, caring for the congregation, overseeing the staff, and working closely with the various university communities in Oakland. He is a frequent conference and seminar speaker, has preached and taught in a number of international settings, and is a directed studies instructor in Reformed Theology at Trinity School for Ministry. Josh has served churches in Ipswich (MA), Newburyport (MA), Washington (PA), and Pittsburgh, and is also Chair of the Ministerial Committee and former Moderator for the Presbytery of the Alleghenies. A fifth-generation Pittsburgher, he lives with his wife (Bethany), sons (Malcolm and Jameson), and dog (Big Papi) in the East End. In his spare time, you’ll probably find him reading, running, or mountain biking.

Whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him

Colossians 3:17

It’s an exciting yet challenging thing to worship and serve the Lord faithfully together as his people. That’s what we seek to do here at Bellefield, and we’d love to have you join us!
