Our Ministries

Bellefield has meant so much to us as we have gone from being college students to young adults to a young family with children. Each step of the way, being a part of a small group has been one way we have experienced God at Bellefield. We love the opportunity to not only study the Bible with other believers but to share in life with dear friends. Bellefield has also given us the opportunity to develop intergenerational relationships that have meant a great deal to us. Bellefield may have started as the church that was right across the street from the dorms we lived in but it has become our community.

Youth Group

Our Youth Ministry enables 6th-12th grade children of our members, our neighbors, and others in the Oakland community to flourish and grow in Christ. Youth Group meets on Mondays and Sunday classes are each Sunday at 9:45am during the school year.

University Ministry

Cornerstone at Pitt

Cornerstone is an interdenominational Christian fellowship for undergraduate students in Pittsburgh, and a ministry of Bellefield Presbyterian Church in partnership with the Coalition for Christian Outreach (CCO).  We strive to live as witnesses to Christ, faithfully study God's word together, and love each other genuinely.

"...Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone."

Ephesians 2:20

Our Large Group Fellowship, called Cornerstone, meets at 8:40pm starting August 30th.

Walk with us in faith

Scripture points out that there is a way of wisdom, a path to walk in that will result in rest for our souls. As graduate students and young adults at Bellefield, we strive together to follow that path. We do that through small groups meant to encourage, instruct, and lift one another up. We do it through practices like service and hospitality. We do it through monthly gatherings of all young adults and grad students called Rooted.

We’d love to have you join us in walking the path. Contact Greg for more information.

Small Groups, Events & More

For the adults in our community we offer a number of ways to engage in discipleship. Sunday Classes, Sunday Morning Worship, and Men’s and Women’s ministries meet in order to fellowship and to present the life changing love of Jesus Christ, in order that people may come to know Christ as their Lord and Savior, grow as Christ’s disciples, and serve Christ in the church and in the world.

Find A Small Group

Whether you're looking for a youth group for middle or high school students, a university bible study or a group of adults to share life and scripture with, we offer many groups for all ages.
